Lotus flower sits for spring
As busy beehive hums hanging
Casting shade onto the clearing
Where Eoster has cast her blessing
Dens empty out their kin
Chiefs of the sky reign supreme
Vaisaravana’s teardrops melt away
Each one helping to mend a world
Turbulent with sorrow and strife
Now is the time for rejuvenation
For life to begin again, start its cycle
Once more. So let the creatures
Run amuck, until they must slumber
Peacefully and dream of warmth again.
The beehive drips a long trail of
Succulunt nurturing honey
Glistening in the sunlight
It reaches down to grace the
Center of the lotus flower
And in reciprocation
It reaches out with its
Pink petals
Accepting this companionship
With open arms and a clear head
Beginning a new lifelong bond
One borne out of a love of nature
A desire to be kind and welcome
Towards all that they encounter
